Thermowood offers a number of advantages that make it an excellent choice for various applications. It is characterized by high dimensional stability and durability, which means it reliably retains its shape even under changing conditions. It also has significantly better resistance and durability. The optimized thermal and sound insulation properties contribute to a pleasant indoor climate and a quiet environment. Thermowood exhibits reduced shrinkage and expansion behaviour when exposed to moisture, which minimizes the risk of deformation. The tension behavior is also reduced, which makes processing considerably easier. Another advantage is the lower weight and reduced density, which makes handling and processing effortless.
