PEFC

PEFC is the largest institution for ensuring sustainable forest management through an independent certification system. Wood and wood products with the PEFC seal are demonstrably sourced from ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable forestry.

PEFC Germany e.V. was founded in 1999 and develops the standards and procedures for certification, provides information to the public, and grants the rights to the PEFC logo in Germany. PEFC is the most important forest certification system in Germany: With 7.5 million hectares of certified forest area, approximately two-thirds of German forests are already PEFC-certified.

Our PEFC Certificate Registration No.: TUEV-PEFC-COC-160662-057

FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council®

The FSC® aims to preserve forests. It seeks to achieve this goal not only through forest protection but primarily by promoting responsible forest management. Strict management criteria prevent uncontrolled logging, human rights violations, or excessive environmental impact. This preserves fundamental forest functions. Certification of the processing and timber trade chain (Chain-of-Custody) from forest to final retail creates transparency for the consumer.

Since its founding in 1992, over 179 million hectares worldwide in 80 countries have been certified according to FSC® rules. This makes the FSC® one of the leading forest certification systems worldwide. In addition to over 1200 forest certificates, there are currently approximately 25,940 Chains-of-Custody in downstream wood processing and trade.

eph® Test Certificate Formaldehyde Emission

Our aspen sawn timber was tested in 2012 by the Development and Testing Laboratory for Wood Technology (eph®) Dresden for formaldehyde emission at an elevated temperature of 90°C.

Subsequently, both the requirements for E1 according to EN 13968 and the guideline values specified in ÖNORM M 6219-1 “Requirements for public and commercial sauna facilities, infrared cabins, steam and other heat chambers” were met.
